Responsibilities – Meet one on one with client weekly. Make community referrals as needed. Commitment of approx. 1/hr a week
Requirements – Application, three personal references, interview, and background check, Agreement with FCC’s Statement of Faith and Policy & Procedures. Approximately 15 hours of TLC & Heartbeat International training. 16 hours of on-the-job orientation including counseling preparation and shadowing. Annual continuing education/refresher training.
Client Advocates will not meet with clients alone until training session is complete.
