The mission of First Choice Clinic is to educate and empower our community to make healthy, life-affirming choices.
First Choice Clinic is a 501(c)3 pregnancy medical center that opened in Red Wing, MN, in 2006. The clinic was originally named New Beginnings Family Services and eventually changed to First Choice Clinic in 2013.
Initially, First Choice Clinic began by providing pregnancy tests, education, and material support for families in Red Wing and the surrounding communities. In 2013, along with the name change, the clinic expanded its services to include ultrasounds, and in 2014, we continued the momentum by adding testing and treatment for STI/STDs for men and women.
First Choice Clinic has been a reliable source for hundreds of families, serving roughly a 30-mile radius that continues to thrive. Our “Earn While You Learn” program allows parents to access educational materials from the time of a positive pregnancy test until the child turns three years of age.
There are no residential or income restrictions, which allows the clinic to more effectively reach families of various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. We are truly making a difference in our community.
At First Choice Clinic, we are also devoted to fathers, providing educational materials to equip men to be important role models in the lives of their child(ren), no matter the family dynamic.
